Direction Turning Films
These light bending films enable off-axis placement of an incoming beam when direct line of site is impractical. Applications include LED lighting, aviation displays, traffic signs, displays and LCD backlights.
They are also used to change the light beam dirction to light a wall, walkway or other lighting target.
They are available as simple 20° direction turning films, as illustrated below, or combined with Light Shaping Diffuser angles. Direction Turning Films can combine the diffusion and angular distribution characteristics of Light Shaping Diffusers with a Fresnel/prism beam shifting structure.
