Electro-Optics Technician – (part-time):

 

Responsibilities: Work in optical R&D labs under the guidance of scientist or engineer.  Conduct experimentation and integration of electro-optical modules and systems.  Procure and test optical, mechanical, and electrical components and devices.

Qualifications/Requirements: B.S. in Optical Engineering, physics or related discipline, understanding of geometrical and/or physical optical principles and simulation software, knowledge of the fundamentals of mechanical, electrical, and optical engineering, self-starter, fast learner, proactive, and able to work independently.  Experience in optical labs, DAQ, or LabVIEW, programming preferred.
