Optical Engineer

 

Candidate must conduct proof-of-concept optical experiments with the use of beam propagation software, develop opto-mechanical designs and measurement software and electronics, build optical breadboard systems and prototypes, analyze and summarize experiment results, and write reports, under the guidance of R&D Research Scientists.  MS degree and 3+ years experience in Electrical Engineering, physics or related fields is required.  Hand-on programming experience in ZEMAX, LabVIEW, AutoCAD, SolidWorks, ProEng, C++, or VB is a plus.
