Luminit Light Shaping Diffusers are used in many event lighting applications, including Bon Jovi and Celine Dion concerts. These LSDs are used to precisely control the angle of divergence and reduce multiple shadows associated with multi-LED sources. With the increased availability of cost effective high-output LED sources, the conventional design of lighting systems is changing from utilizing larger extended sources to smaller discrete ones. These new energy saving designs require diffusers capable of delivering uniformity and directionality at high transmission rates. For some designs, the diffuser is required to mix the transmissions of multiple sources. Light Shaping Diffusers are available in many standard angles in circular or elliptical patterns. They are also available in large seamed or seamless rolls for volume applications. Light Shaping Diffusers can also be designed in combination with other optics such as fresnels to fit your application.
