Global Accounts Manager
                            
Reports to: Director of Sales
 
Job Objective:
 
Responsible for the development and management of all sales activities in the following assigned territories: Pacific Rim, China, and Korea. Works to meet and beat sales targets within these territories while maximizing profitability and growth in line with company vision and values. Establishes plans and strategies to expand the customer base in the territories by working with existing accounts and distributors, in addition to establishing new accounts and distributors.
 
Responsibilities:
  • Develops a sales strategy for the assigned territories that ensures attainment of company sales goals and profitability.
  • Follows up with sales leads generated by Luminit’s marketing department.
  • Documents all sales activities in Luminit’s customer relationship management (CRM) software.
  • Assists in the development and implementation of marketing plans as needed.
  • Travels to territory on a periodic basic, approximately every 2 months.
  • Provides timely feedback to senior management regarding performance.
  • Provides timely, accurate, competitive quotes to all prospects, while striving to maintain maximum profit margin.
  • Creates and conducts company presentations in the territories.
  • Controls expenses to meet budget guidelines.
  • Adheres to all company policies, procedures and business ethics codes.
Relationships and Roles:
Internal / External Cooperation
  • Sets examples for Sales Engineers in areas of personal character, commitment, organizational and selling skills, and work habits.
  • Maintains contact with all accounts in territory to ensure high levels of customer satisfaction.
  • Demonstrates ability to interact, cooperate and solve problems with all internal departments.
Job Specifications:
  • Required: 5-7 years of experience in selling into one or more of the following market segments: High Technology, Display or LED Lighting.
  • Required: Experience selling into Pacific Rim, China or Korea.
  • Experience selling optical components, LEDs or diffusers preferred.
  • Willingness to travel internationally.
  • Proven ability to increase profitable sales.

Senior Optical Holography Engineer

Responsibilities: Lead experimental work development to record complex holographic and microstructures, using various laser techniques. Focus on deliverables such as new structures, prototyping, testing, verification and repeatability. Motion-control, micro positioning or similar expertise. Optics design software experience (ZEMAX, CODE V, Similar) Requirements: 5+ years hands-on industrial or research equivalent experience, Advance degree in Holography. Ph.D. Preferred. Direct experience with lasers. UV, excimer, or short-wavelength CW laser experience is preferred. Software experience such as Lab View, Matlab, or similar is a plus.

Optical Lab Technician

Responsibilities: Holographic and/or optical recording experience. Understanding diffractive and geometrical optics. Hands-on experience with running optical laboratory, metrology equipment, design of experiments, materials such as photoresist. Reports data collection, statistics, outlines procedures. Requirements: B.Sc. in optics, Holography, Material Sciences, or related engineering fields.

Process Engineer

Summary: Luminit LLC, a cutting-edge industry leader in the manufacture of Light Shaping Diffusers for the display, lighting, and many other industries, has an immediate opening for a senior Process Engineer.
Key functions and goals include, but are not limited to, process development and improvements, and providing the overall process design measures for the improvement of efficiencies and costs of manufacturing roll-to-roll and rigid panel UV-embossed products.
It is a hands-on position that interacts extensively both within and outside the department, and is an outstanding opportunity for the right individual to share in the rapid growth of a progressive, team-oriented organization.
 
Principal Duties and Responsibilities of the position:
 
Good analytical and troubleshooting skills are required. Must be detail-oriented, able to work with a team and follow deadlines, and to identify and implement solutions for issues relating to safety, quality, productivity, and cost reduction.
This position requires experiences in Web Handling and roll-to-roll epoxy coaters, epoxy UV curing equipment and methods, and knowledge of experimental design, coating and replication quality control testing, process equipment, and Parker controls and instrumentation.

Experience with proposal writing, reporting and presentations is necessary. Will provide regular project updates to management; and communicate with plant management, engineers, safety personnel and regulatory agents on the new replication materials and processes.

 
Qualifications: Basic requirements are an educational background in Material Science, Process Engineering, Web Handling, or a related discipline, along with 5+ years practical experience in the field(s) of optical films and resins. Experience with micro-replication, experimental design, epoxy coatings, quality control, and process and instrumentation design will be favorably considered.
 
Strong communications and presentation skills, persistence, and the ability to interact with a diverse workforce are necessary qualities.
