Boroscope/Endoscope Illumination
Boroscope/Endoscope Illumination
Boroscopes are optical devices that allow the user to image difficult to access objects (i.e. internal engine parts, internal body parts).Boroscopes have an objective lens at the tip to form an image of the object to be viewed. The objective is followed by an optical relay, to transmit the image down the tube. The eyepiece then magnifies the image to be viewed by the eye. For most of these applications light needs to be delivered to the specimen for proper viewing. Luminit’s diffusers can be used to adjust the field of illumination by shaping and homogenizing the light for the particular part size under inspection.
