Luminit Light Shaping Diffusers are used in many architectural lighting applications, from lighting the Texas State Capital to the Eiffel Tower. These LSDs offer excellent color mixing and divergence angle control with very little loss in transmission.

With the increased availability of cost effective high-output LED sources, the conventional design of lighting systems is changing from utilizing larger extended sources to smaller discrete ones. These new energy saving designs require diffusers capable of shaping the transmitted beam and improving the uniformity of the projected light. For some designs, the diffuser is required to mix the multiple sources to reduce multiple shadowing and reduce color separation in RGB applications. Light Shaping Diffusers are available in many standard angles in circular or elliptical patterns. They are also available in large seamed or seamless rolls for volume applications. Light Shaping Diffusers can also be designed in combination with other optics such as fresnels to fit your application.
